Budget organizations of Uzbekistan stole nearly 4 million dollars from the state

In the fourth quarter of 2018, the General Directorate of State Financial Control of Uzbekistan revealed in budgetary organizations violations in the expenditure of public funds in the amount of 29 billion soums (3,47 million dollars), reports the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic.

To verify the legality of spending the funds allocated by the state budget, the State Financial Control Agency conducted 1969 events. In 1717 cases revealed the expenditure of funds in violation of financial discipline. As noted in the message, shortages and assignments were detected at 6 billion soums, illegal expenses - by 23 billion.

"In the course of the control measures, as well as following their results, recovery of 18,5 billion soums ( 2,21 million dollars) of funds in the prescribed manner was ensured", - says the press service of the Ministry.
