A telephone conversation took place between the ministers of foreign affairs of Kazakhstan and Russia, Beibut Atamkulov and Sergey Lavrov, reports the press service of the MFA.
The ministers discussed cooperation issues both in a bilateral format and within multilateral frameworks. The interlocutors noted the readiness to continue the joint work on the implementation of the course pursued by the presidents of the two countries Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin on strengthening the Kazakhstan-Russian strategic partnership.
During the conversation, a number of topical topics of Kazakhstan-Russian interaction were discussed, also a schedule of upcoming contacts.
