Bread queues again lined up in Turkmenistan

The queues again lined up in state stores for bread and at ATMs for money in Turkmenistan.

“In Lebap and Maryi district, people gather in line for bread again, and also stand in front of ATMs to withdraw money,” - reports the Azatlyk correspondent in Ashgabat.

The shortage of flour and bread has been going on for almost a year. In state bazaar and in private stores, food prices are rising steadily in Turkmenistan.

In addition, bread and flour are sold at prices 5-6 times lower than in private stores in states stores.
