Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi with the support of the Embassy  of the Kazakh Republic in Egypt opened al-Farabi Science and Education Center in the Cairo University.

Within the framework of the ceremony of the center, the international scientific seminar "The Philosophical heritage of al-Farabi" was organised.

Scientists who are researching al-Farabi, philosophers of Cairo University, Rector of KazNU Galymkaiyr Mutanov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Egypt Arman Isagaliev made speeches on the great heritage of al-Farabi and other East philosophers.

In addition, delegation of Kazakhstan visited  historical and cultural places in Egypt to collect video materials to making film about al-Farabi and Beibarys Sultan.
