External debt of Kazakhstan decreased by 8,6%
According to the Agency, the external debt of Kazakhstan decreased by 8.6%, and amounted to 161,5 billion dollars as of October last year.
63,7% of the external debt still accounts for inter-company debt, foreign debt of other sectors to unrelated creditors is 25.7%, and the state external debt of the Government and the National Bank is 7.1%.
Moreover, it should be noted that in the third quarter of the previous year external debt of the country decreased by 3 billion dollars at the expense of all sectors of the economy. On the basis of state external debt, the National Bank's short-term notes have been reduced by about 453 million dollars due to reduction of demand for foreign investors.
