Nazarbayev and Mirziyoyev talked over the phone

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reports the press service of Akorda.

The heads of state congratulated each other on the coming New Year. Nursultan Nazarbayev wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev good health and prosperity, and the people of Uzbekistan - peace and prosperity.

The leaders also discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation and noted the consistent development of a broad spectrum of relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek side initiated telephone conversations.
