Kyrgyz people are protesting in front of the Chinese embassy in Bishkek

The Kyrgyz people are protesting in front of the Chinese embassy in Bishkek. The gathered demand the release of Kyrgyz people from "re-education camps" in China.

Moreover, within a month, all foreigners must be expelled from Kyrgyzstan, and citizens who have been granted citizenship of Kyrgyzstan for the last 10 years should be examined by law, by setting up a special commission.

In addition, it should be noted  that during the press conference, Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said that people should be carefully when they talk about Kyrgyz citizens in "re-education camps" in China. He also noted that he has no right to interfere in the domestic policy of other countries.

However, the Kyrgyz people, who is concerned about the relatives in another country, said that their relatives in China are under pressure. Thus, they are trying to find a way out. Besides, there is not only Kyrgyz people in 're-education camps' in China, but also representatives of the Kazakh, Kyrgyz ethnics are staying there.

It is also worth noting that on November 23 about 10 Kyrgyz and ethnic Kyrgyz from China held a press conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Moreover, kayrylmans from China and relatives of ethnic Kyrgyz in China appealed to Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov. They were asking for help in freeing their relatives from the “re-education camps” in China .
