On the eve of the Independence Day, the «Аlatau» winter garden was opened in KazNU, Almaty, reports the press service of Kazakh National University.

More than 50 tropical and subtropical plants gathered here, including fountains and small architectural forms, places for students to relax and work. It will host classes and scientific internships for future biologists, geo-botanists, ecologists and other specialists, as well as excursions for schoolchildren and nature lovers.

The garden collection will be continued to expand with rare and valuable plants, flowers and decorative compositions. Beautiful living environment has already become a place of attraction for creative youth and residents of the campus. Here they can usefully spend their time and relax, attend special eco-trainings, take part in caring for plants and learn more about nature.
