Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated the ambassadors on the official start of their diplomatic service in Kazakhstan and emphasized the symbolic significance of today's ceremony on the threshold of Independence Day, reports Akorda.

"For 27 years, we have become a modern, fast-growing state. Today, we attach great importance to ensuring peace and public harmony in the country and improving the welfare of the people. We are implementing large-scale programs and reforms to join the top 30 developed countries of the world", - noted the President of Kazakhstan.

During this meeting, Ambassador of Afghanistan Mohammad Frakhad Azimi, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev, Ambassador of Lithuania Gintautas Vassulis, Ambassador of Iran Madjid Samadzade Saber, Ambassador of Armenia Gagik Galachyan presented letters of credence.
