More than half a million tourists have visited Astana in 2018, reports Kazinform.

According to them, all directions of tourism, especially medical tourism is developing rapidly in the capital of the country Astana.

It was known in "Astana Convention Bureau" that tourism industry of Astana is developing, so more than 500 thousand tourists traveled to Astana in 2018.

"The rapid development and advancement of the city brand has contributed to holding major conferences, exhibitions, cultural and sport events every year in the capital. Today Astana is dedicated to building an important dialogue platform for addressing global issues in Central Asia. Nowadays, the capital has a chance to become one of the major tourist destinations in Central Asia and then in the world",- noted Aigerim Beisembayeva, general manager of the marketing department at "Astana Convention Bureau".
