Soldiers of Uzbekistan will have to pass examinations on the history of Uzbekistan and the subject of “The Code of Temir” before taking the military oath. This instruction was made by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the expanded session of the Security Council.

“We all proudly talk about Amir Temir. However, let's honestly admit, how many soldiers read the “Code” of the great Sahibkiran or is everybody sufficiently aware of the life and military skill of the great commander Zaloliddin Manguberdy? After all, victories, strategy and tactics of our ancestors are still being studied in many military schools and world academies", - noted Mirziyoyev.

Moreover, the president also gave instructions on assigning the names of  Uzbek  great commanders to advanced military units, conducting scientific research, publishing art books and films about famous military leaders.
