Singapore's Universal Success Enterprises plans to build a "smart city" in the Tashkent region for $ 2.5 billion, Podrobno.uz reported.

The construction memorandum was signed between Singaporean company Universal Success Enterprises and the State Investment Committee at the first international investment forum in Tashkent on November 21.

It is expected that the project to complete by the end of 2021 by attracting foreign direct investment of $ 2.5 billion.

Universal Success Enterprises has extensive experience in the construction of "smart" and industrial cities. In particular, the Singapore company has implemented projects for the construction of the town of Kolkata West International City in the territory of 152 hectares and the Dholera Special Investment Region in the territory of 400 hectares in India.
