The Kazakh delegation including representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice took part in the eighth meeting of the consular consultations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, reports the press service of Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The Kazakh delegation was headed by Tauboldy Umbetbaev, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan, and the Iranian delegation by Ali Asgar Mohammadi, Director of the Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry of Iran.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular field. In addition, consular, legal and visa issues were considered, as well as the protection of the rights and interests of the citizens of the two countries. In particular, the parties agreed on issuing multiple entry visas for one year, each entry for up to 30 days, for drivers of Kazakh transport companies.
Following the two-day consular consultations, the parties signed the corresponding final Protocol.
