Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of Bangladesh Barlybay Sadykov presented his credentials to the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid. During the meeting, after the official ceremony, the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats have been discussed, reports the official website of Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Ambassador Sadykov briefed the President of Bangladesh on the main priorities of external and internal policy, political and economic transformations taking place in the country initiated by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. It was noted that the reforms are aimed at modernizing the country's society and economy, ensuring Kazakhstan's entry into the 30 most developed countries of the world by 2050.
President of Bangladesh H.E. Mr. Abdul Hamid warmly recalled his visit to Kazakhstan to participate at the first OIC Summit on Science and Technology in Astana in September 2017 and participation at the solemn closing ceremony of the International Specialized Exhibition «Expo-2017». He noted the importance of the further cooperation and mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations to which Bangladesh and Kazakhstan are parties.
Ambassador Sadykov emphasized that the Kazakhstan side is ready to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation with the People's Republic of Bangladesh in bilateral and multilateral formats.
