Kazakhstani low-cost airlines on the basis of Air Astana to start work from May, 2019. This was reported by the Minister of Investments and development of RK Zhenis Kasymbek.

During the meeting, the head of state ordered to create a budget airline based on the Air Astana. It is planned that Air Astana will begin work from May of the next year. Decision of its creation has been already accepted on the boards of the directors", - noted Zhenis Kasymbek.

Moreover, last week the President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of increasing the availability of air transportation services for the population, ordered the creation of a budget airline based on Air Astana, which to provide transportation services at lower tariffs.
