Renewable energy, green technologies, efficient use of resources, and harmonization of environmental legislation were the main topics studied during the training courses conducted by the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe in October, the Tajik news agency Avesta reported.

The OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe stated that the training courses in the cities of Bokhtar, Khujand, Khorog and the Rasht region contributed to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Tajikistan.

Some 140 participants, including representatives of local authorities, business entities, youth and OSCE’s Aarhus Centers from all regions of Tajikistan attended the training.
