On October 31, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on a significant date in the history of bilateral relations – the 20th anniversary of Eternal Friendship Treaty signed between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports the official website of Uzbek government.
The Head of the state, sincerely congratulating fraternal people of Kazakhstan, noted that this document consolidated the indestructibility of centuries-old bonds of friendship, brotherhood and good-neighborliness between the two countries and people, which are linked by common history, spiritual and cultural heritage.
It was noted that signing of Strategic Partnership Agreement and Joint Declaration on further deepening strategic partnership and strengthening good neighborliness became a new milestone on consistent development of cooperation.
In the message, it is noted that cultural-humanitarian and business events held this year within the framework of the Year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan are bright example of rapprochement of people of the two countries.
