International competition "Turkistan architect awards" has started on October 26. The aim of this project to develop conceptual sketches of the newest and cultural objects of the city of Turkestan.

The competition organized by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mamin. The goal is to attract  the international and domestic architects to develop the unique architectural solutions, the impetus for the development of the spiritual culture center of Kazakhstan.

The participants in the competition are tasked with preparing, in a month, full-fledged architectural sketches for 15 projects, in which participants must not only substantiate the architectural idea, but also work on the purpose and content of the object. That is, the best will be works in which there will be a unique architectural idea that has absorbed the culture of ancient Turkestan, as well as the most modern effective solutions and technologies aimed at creating comfortable conditions for visitors to public and cultural sites. It is very important to provide tourist attraction for new sites, thanks to which Turkestan should become one of the most visited cities in tourists in all of Central Asia.

The international competition "Turkistan architect awards" will be held in one stage from October 26, 2018 to November 25, 2018. Winners will be announced on December 1, 2018. Participants must provide a concept project, in accordance with all requirements of the technical specification of the competition, for each category of object.

It is worth noting that each winner in his nomination will be the owner of a cash prize, and will have the opportunity to conclude an exclusive contract for the design of the project which they won.
