The Kazakhstani "Amire" feature film has became the winner at the international Hollywood Film Festival. Actor Sanzhar Madi, who plays the role of the main character in the movie, singer Amre Kashaubayev, wrote on his Facebook.

The film about the famous singer Amire Kashaubayev, who lived in the 19-20th century, was filmed by the Kazakhfilm studio together with the DAR play company at the request of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Amira Kashaubaev was not only a singer, but also one of the founders of Kazakh national theatrical art. In the 30s of the last century, the NKVD was persecuted for communication with the figures of Alashorda.
Kashaubaev, who had to play the role of Tolegen in the opera "Kyz Zhibek", was found dead on one of the streets in Almaty on December 6, 1934, just one day before the premiere.
