Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his opinion regarding the presidential election in 2020.

He answered questions of local mass media representatives at a press conference during the visit to Finland. At the briefing, one of the journalists asked the president of Kazakhstan that whether he is planning to take part in president election in 2020.

In turn, Nursultan Nazarbayev said that this question has been asked him many times lately. He said: "As a first president and founder of modern Kazakhstan I have the constitutional right to take part in the presidential elections. Maybe I will make this decision next year or 2020. Everybody will know the answer at that time".

Recall, it is interesting to note that by law, the presidential election in Kazakhstan will take place in 2020. However, in the history of independent Kazakhstan, the presidential elections have never taken place in time. Nazarbayev has already won all of the presidential elections until this time.
