The son from the first marriage of the first president of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, Peter, filed a lawsuit in the Tversk District Court of Moscow and demanded the employer unpaid wages.

A representative of Tversk District Court  confirmed the information that a citizen with surname Karimov had actually filed the lawsuit with court Uzbekistan Airways «Узбекистон хаво йуллари».

"We have a plaintiff named Karimov. But, I do not know whether he is the son of first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov  or not. The court hearing  on his suit is scheduled for October 24.The defendant is Uzbekistan Airways", - told the deputy chairman of Tversk District Court Anastasiya Dzurko.

According to some media reports,  Petr Karimov worked for several years in a leadership positions in the National Airline Uzbekistan Airways, but after his father's death in 2016, he was fired from his job. However, now in his statement of his claim, Petr Karimov claims that the employer did not pay him a salary upon his dismissal. At present time, Petr Karimov intends to recover through the court from the from employer wage arrears. In addition, the amount of money and other claims were not disclosed.

As stated by some Internet publications,  Zumrad Shodzhalilov, press secretary of Uzbekistan Airways «Узбекистон хаво йуллари» noted on October 10 that the airline sent Peter Karimov a notice stating that the employer had made a full settlement with Karimov as a former employee.

Moreover, it shoul be noted that during the life of Islam Karimov, in official Internet sources, nothing was reported about his eldest child, Peter.
