According to the press of the Uzbek President, the presidential decree aims to develop international relations between Uzbekistan and France, including the development of cultural and scientific education, investment climate and tourism.

Moreover, accordance with Uzbek mass media, the number of tourists traveling from Uzbekistan to France annually rises. For example, in 2016 this figure was 4889, and it increased by 5748 people in 2017.
