The Turkish company Etka Co Enerji in Uzbekistan will build the largest wind power plant until 2020, the UzTAG reports.
According to the company, a wind power plant with a capacity of 600 MW will be built in the Baysun district of the Surkhandarya region and will create 100 new jobs. The project cost is estimated at $ 500 million.
The power plant, experts say, will produce 2 billion KW / h of electricity per year, which will ensure the power supply of the Baisunsky and Sherabad districts.
