The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon made an official visit to Hiroshima

The official visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Japan began with Hiroshima and will continue in the cities of Kyouto and Tokyo, reports the press service of the head of state.

The president laid flowers to the memorial victims of the atomic bomb in the "Park of Peace" as a sign of sincere respect for the history and  cultur of the nation of Japan on October 3.

"Hiroshima, which is located on the island Honshu, is one of the modern cities of Japan. The city was completely destroyed as a result of the atomic bomb dropping on August 6, 1945, in the days of the end of World War II. The Peace Park was built here to honor the victims of this city and the terrible tragedy”, - says in the press service notes.

In addition, ther is also located Hiroshima musem in the territory of the park. The park contains a number of pictures and sculptures related to the tragedy of 1945.
