“There is no safe aircraft in Air Kyrgyzstan. As I know, Chinese companies have an interest in our company, maybe, we will give them? There is an information that in case of purchase they are ready to bring 12 aircraft within 3-5 years. In the most successful 2012, Air Kyrgyzstan earned 35 million soms. This is the profit of one restaurant or another company. For Air Kyrgyzstan, this is a shame”, - noted the deputy during a discussion at the parliamentary committee on transport, communications and architecture and construction on October 2.

Moreover, the Minister of Transport and Roads Zhamshitbek Kalilov confirmed the interest of Chinese investors in buying of Air Kyrgyzstan. However, as stated by him, it is impossible to clearly speak about their readiness to acquire a company. Kalilov explained that in case of difficulties even with salaries, the initiative to sell the company itself is doubtful.

In addition, it should be noted that the Air Park of Air Kyrgyzstan have only one aircraft. And then it is on the repair of the engine, and flights are postponed indefinitely. Due to the difficult financial situation, the company cannot pay salaries to employees, it was forced to reduce staff.
