19 memorandums for the amount of about 1,7 billion US dollars signed the International Investment and Tourism Forum "Ancient Turkistan - New Opportunities" held in the city of Turkistan. Particularly, the agreements were concluded between the akimat of the Turkistan region and investors from Iran, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Italy, Poland and China, reports press service of mayor of Turkistan region.

Moreover, mayor of Turkistan region Zhanseit Tuimebayev signed a memorandum with the Iranian company "Ardabil Petrochemical Co" for a total amount of 205 million US dollars. This agreement involves the construction of an oncology center and a refinery for the processing of petroleum products. In addition, an agreement was signed with the Chinese company "Changchun Longyuan Power Equipment Co. Ltd", which intends to invest US 648 million dollars in the production of power plants and products. Meantime, LLP "Green Land Alatau" and Russian investors intend to invest 180 million US dollars in the construction of a greenhouse complex.

Furthermore, during the forum for the amount of 340 million US dollars, a memorandum was concluded with the Chinese company "Shanghai Lianfu New Energy Science & Technology Group" on the construction of a plant for the production of electric vehicles on solar batteries. In addition, in the amount of 100 million US dollars, a memorandum was signed with the Turkish company "Dogus Insaat ve Ticaret AS", which intends to implement a number of projects in the field of infrastructure. Moreover, the Iranian company "Faradid Meehan" plans to invest 5 million US dollars in the construction of a brick factory.
