President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Dushanbe on September 27 to attend the CIS summit. He is going to hold bilateral meetings.
Visit of Putin to Tajikistan will start with an informal lunch. Moreover, it is planned he will hold a few meetings at the table with colleagues. The assistant of Russian President Yury Ushakov said that Vladimir Putin will take part in the meeting of the CIS leaders of State on September 28. In addition, he will also hold bilateral meetings with President of Tajikistan and with the President of Kyrgyzstan.
So, the summit will focus on issues of security, the chairmanship of the Commonwealth, and the timing of the next meeting.
According to the CIS Executive Committee, the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights signed on December 10, 1948 and the 75th anniversary of the victory at the Second World War will be the main topics of the meeting.
