The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia Elmar Mamdyarov and Zograb Mnatsakanyan are planning to continue negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the following month, reports press service of two countries.
"The meeting lasted for three hours. We exchanged notions on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and aimed at establishing peace in the region. So, we agreed to continue these talks in the following month", - told Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mamdyarov.
Recall, it is worth noting that the debate over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan started in February 1988 when the Nagorno- Garabagh autonomous region declared its withdrawal from Azerbaijan. At the end, Azerbaijan lost its territory in Nagorno-Karabakh and seven districts during the 1992-1993. In addition, the OSCE Minsk Group has negotiated a peaceful settlement of the dispute since 1992. Despite the United States and France are involved in proving the issue between the two countries, the solution of the debate is still not defined. It is hoped that is can be resolved in October.
