The Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan is planning to build a satellite with Uzbekistan, reports ministry website.
Aslanbek Syrlanov, an employee of the International military-technical department, told that there is a realistic proposal for the building of the joint Kazakh-Uzbek satellite.
"Our colleagues from Uzbekistan use foreign satellites at present time.That is why, we are planning to construct the joint satellite", told he during the press conference.
Moreover, it is planned to build five satellites in the framework of cooperation of Central Asian countries. These cameras can capture images up to 5 meters.
"Then every country in Central Asia will be able to manage one satellite. They will have an opportunity to make a daily pictures. All this is offered by Kazakhstan", mentioned Aslanbek Syrlanov.
Recall, an international conference on cooperation development between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan was held in Astana on September 21 in a new geopolitical situation. The event was attended by leading experts in the space industry of the two countries. The memorandum on development of space industry between the two countries was signed during the event.
