The chief mufties of Central Asia signed a joint memorandum in Bishkek, reports Department of Religious Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The chief mufties of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed the joint memorandum to create religious schools, to co-organize religious holidays in Central Asia, to promote common traditions and moral values. In addition, it is also planned to translate religious books in the context of joint international work. Moreover, the important thing which should be noted that  the fight against religious extremism and terrorism in the region will be taken up.
