Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the hard work of metallurgists

Nursultan Nazarbayev visits one of the largest enterprises of the Karagandy region, specializing in the production of rolled ferrous metals, reports Akorda's press service.

The President got acquainted with the technologies for the production of long products and was informed of further plans for the development of the metallurgical plant. In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev was informed about the plans for the reconstruction of CHPP-1 and CHPP-2, and solutions to ensure the environmental safety of the region.

During the visit, the President met and spoke with the workers of the enterprise.

- Now I am overwhelmed with special feelings on the territory of the plant. For the first time I crossed the gate in 1958. There was nothing then. All this was built before my eyes, - he shared his memories.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted the hard work of metallurgists and workers of the plant, stressing that he always keeps the situation around the city of Temirtau and the plant under constant control.

During the conversation, he reminded the company's management of the social responsibility of business for improving the quality of life of citizens. In particular, Kazakh President pointed to the need to increase the number of medical, educational and sports facilities in the city.

Representatives of the plant's labor collective expressed support for the initiatives of Nursultan Nazarbayev and the state programs implemented in the country.
