President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov held talks with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov in an expanded format, reports the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

The Heads of State noted that they attach great importance to building mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and are aimed at further expanding the multilateral ties of the two fraternal peoples.

S.Jeenbekov and G. Berdymukhammedov stressed that the talks were held in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual understanding and constructivism.

The state and prospects of bilateral relations, issues on the regional and international agenda were discussed in detail. These include water-energy, transport, trade-economic, political, agricultural, industrial and cultural-humanitarian issues.
