Kazakhstan is interested in further development of trade and economic relations with Iran.
The Secretary of State Gulshara Abdyhalykova has met with Iranian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Mojzhtaba Damirchilu. During the meeting, Abdykalykova said: "We are interested in further development of trade and economic relations with Iran. The trade turnover between January and May 2018 amounted to 251,4 million dollars. It is 47,7% more than the same period last year".
Recall, the US sanctions on Iran came into effect on 7th August. To the list of these sanctions includes items from Iran's carpet production to the import of ordinary aircraft parts.
