87% of schools have access to the Internet, said Minister of Information and Communications of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev at a meeting of the government.

"For example, at least 87% of schools have access to the Internet, and the gap in knowledge between urban and rural students has decreased by almost 30%. Due to the optimization and automation of public services, the term for them was reduced in some cases up to 3 times, and medical information systems were introduced in all regional medical organizations. As part of the use of electronic medical records and the rejection of paper medium, the factor of loss of medical cards is completely excluded, thus the work of the registry is optimized," the Minister said.
