On the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic in the area of the Skryabin Glacier, 40 km from Bishkek, a group of tourists fell under a rockfall. Among the victims are four Kazakh citizens, report the MFA of RK.

According to preliminary data, one person died.

"We are clarifying all the details of what happened, with the assistance of the Kazakh consul, the representatives of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Kazakhstan have already joined the rescue of our citizens. The issue of sending a helicopter from Kazakhstan for the evacuation of affected tourists is considered, among which there are also citizens of the Russian Federation," the head of the MFA press service Aibek Smadiyarov said.
