The telephone conversation between the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation was held, reports the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.

On July 26, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the schedule of mutual visits at the highest and highest levels, as well as current issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation.

The foreign ministers separately discussed the issue of the legal status of the citizens of the KR and compatriots residing in the Russian Federation.
