In the mosques of Kazakhstan has been set up to monitor the sound of Azan. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society approved the volume of loudness of the Azan sound in mosques, reports the press service of the Ministry.

According to the requirement, the level of noise heard in the interior of the residential premises should be no more than 55 and 70 decibels at 7:00 am - 23:00 pm. Moreover, it should be between 45 and 60 decibels from 23:00 pm until 7:00 am.

In turn, the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Kazakhstan adheres to the recommendations of the Ministry for Religious Affairs and Civil Society and the sanitary and epidemiological requirements for not exceeding the loudness of the Azan and calls on the leadership of mosques to comply with the standards of sanitary and epidemiological requirements, and residents are requested to understand religious rituals, if not committing them contradicts the current legislation.
