Over the year, the army of Kyrgyzstan rose to 17 positions in the world ranking of military power, according to the analytical company Global Firepower.
Last year, the country 108th place among 127 countries. This year, the CD entered the top 100, being 91st out of 136.
There are 150 tanks, 438 armored personnel carriers, 159 artillery units, 21 rocket launchers, and six helicopters (including two combat vehicles) in the arsenal of the Kyrgyz army.
The military potential of 136 states was estimated on the basis of 55 parameters.
The top three of the list included the US, Russia, China. Among the republics of the Central Asian region, Uzbekistan leads (39th), followed by Kazakhstan (50th). Turkmenistan is on the 80th line, and Tajikistan - on the 96th.
