As stated by the local media, today the Sverdlov District Court of Bishkek rejected the claim of Kabai Karabekov about paying 5 million soms by instalments. He noted that the Bishkek City Court will send his case to law enforcement agencies in the event of non-payment of compensation in the amount of five million dollars on time. According to Karabekov, he may be imprisoned in the next couple of weeks. Because there is no way to fully pay this amount.
Recall, on the eve of the presidential elections in autumn 2017, Kyrgyzstan's current president, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, transferred to court Kabai Karabekov, who published an article on the website "24.kg" on September 11, 2017, "Visit to Sochi.
