Starting July 1, 2018, the basic pension of pensioners' of Kazakhstan will be assigned depending on their length of work experience. This information was reported by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Tamara Duisenova.
According to the Minister, the basic pensions of all those who have reached retirement age make up 54% of the subsistence minimum, or about 12 thousand tenge.
"Starting July 1, 2018, the basic pension will be accrued depending on lenth of work experience. That is, pensioners with 20 years of work experience will receive 74% of the subsistence minimum. It is higher to 20% than people who have 10 years work experience. Moreover, pensions of pensioners who have more than 33 years work experience account to 100 % of the subsistence minimum or more than around 85%", - said Duisenova.
Recall, the subsistence minimum in Kazakhstan since January 1, 2018, made up 28 850 tenge. According to the recent information, 7,67 trillion tenge was accumulated in the pension fund of Kazakhstan.
