Cybersecurity Academy to be created in Kazakhstan where cybersecurity specialists will be trained, reports vice minister of the Defense and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Timur Shaimergenov.

“We are currently studying the organizational and legal issues of creating a cybersecurity academy. Strong companies will be involved in this work, including Turkish, Israeli and Russian. The Academy will operate on the basis of public-private partnership”, - noted Timur Shaimergenov.

As stated by him, this year, together with the company “Transtelecom”, the National Center for Industrial Cyber ​​Security was established. Its main goal is to ensure the cybersecurity of facilities of strategic importance. The Academy will operate on the basis of this center, where it will be possible to train cybersecurity experts for the private and quasi-public sectors.
