Belarus and Uzbekistan will strengthen partnership in the fight against terrorism and drug smuggling. The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this today to reporters after negotiations with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
"We discussed topical issues of a regional and global nature. We outlined the prospects for joint work within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States. We confirmed our readiness to strengthen partnership in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug smuggling, and other challenges and threats of our time", - said Alexander Lukashenko.
Recall, President Shavkat Miriziyoyev is on a two-day working visit to Belarus. The visit began on August 31.
