On October 22-23, Ashgabat will host the 24th International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan”, organized by the state concern Turkmenneft together with the Turkmen Forum, Orient reports.

This conference is a platform for the development of cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

During the discussions on its fields, the state of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan will be assessed, the results of major projects in the field of hydrocarbon processing, including the construction of a gasoline production plant from natural gas in Ahal, will be presented. A tour of the plant will be organized for forum delegates.

Representatives of foreign companies will discuss with heads of state structures cooperation and investment.

In particular, it is planned to consider investment projects on the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea, the laying of the gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India. A number of contracts and memorandums are expected to sign.
