The international consulting organization Mercer has published a ranking of the best cities in quality of life, which included 231 cities in the world.

In compiling the list, specialists analyzed factors such as urban transport, education, housing quality, medical care, cultural life, political and economic stability. So, according to the rating, Bishkek is located at 206 positions.

Among the cities of Central Asia, Almaty (Kazakhstan) took 177th place, Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) - 206, Ashkhabad (Turkmenistan) - 211, Dushanbe (Tajikistan) - 215.

The top ten included: Vienna, Zurich, Vancouver, Munich, Auckland (New Zealand), Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Geneva.
