Minister of Foreign Affairs Kairat Abdrakhmanov met with UNICEF Executive Director Henryetta Fore, who arrived in Astana at the Global Conference on Primary Care. The Forum was organized with the participation of the World Health Organization, UNICEF and the Government of Kazakhstan, reports the official website of Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.

Kairat Abdrakhmanov shared the information about the implementation of the President's instructions in this area, emphasizing the commitment of the Kazakh side to the international obligations of the child's rights protection. The Minister thanked UNICEF for providing support to Kazakhstan in the issues of maternal and child health and child protection. With the support of the UN Children's Fund, programs and projects are being implemented aimed at developing juvenile justice and creating equal opportunities for children in all spheres of life.

Along with the positive impact of the health in our country, Kazakhstan wished to share its experience with the developing world and to contribute to its sustainable development.
