Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan consulate consultations were held in Astana

Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan consultations on consular issues were held in accordance with the Action Plan for Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for 2018, reports the official website of Kazakh Foreign Minister.

The Kazakh delegation was headed by the Director of the Consular Service Department Umbetbayev Tauboldy, the Uzbek delegation headed by Deputy Director of the Consular-Legal Department Nasriyev Farid.

The sides discussed the state of bilateral relations in the field of consular services during the consultations held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, as a result of which the relevant protocol was signed.

One of the issues raised during the bilateral meetings was the introduction of the "Silk Road" visa, which promotes the development of tourism in the two countries.
