President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the draft law regarding the pension reform. This was reported by the press service of Kremlin's official website.

According to the law, the age of requirement of men increased to 65, requirement age of women to 60. It was approved by the Russian Federation Council on October 3 and in State duma on Sptember 26.

Recall, it should be noted that on July, the Russian parliament approved the draft law developed by the government, which envisaged increasing the retirement age for the country's citizens - 63 years for women and 65 for men - in the first reading. Residents protested against government reform in protests in dozens of cities in Russia. The results of the public poll showed that the rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin has sharply declined. Putin offered to extend the retirement age for women to five years instead of the eight planned by the government on August 29, and to raise three or more mothers early retirement.
