Minister of Labor and Social Protection Madina Abylkasymova spoke at the plenary session of the Majilis of the Parliament on amendments to the bills on employment and migration.
In particular, the draft law presupposes that Kazakhstanis will be able to retrain annually, even if they suspend their education without good reason.
"Last year, 72 thousand people were sent for short-term education, of which about two thousand people stopped training voluntarily, mostly young people under the age of 35. To give them the opportunity to re-enter vocational education and other employment measures, we decided to liberalize this rule", the minister explained.
Note that the current law assumes retraining of the unemployed only after three years from the date of their registration in the employment center.
