Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Deputy Prime Minister Askar Zhumagaliyev, reports the press service of Kazakh President.

During the meeting, the head of state was informed about the implementation of the state program ‘Digital Kazakhstan’ and the measures taken to fulfil these instructions earlier.

‘Kazakhstan's economy should increase by 30%, because of digitalization, in monetary terms, it will be more than 2 trillion tenge. The digitalization program approved, the state allocates a lot of money for this, it is necessary to ensure their effective use’, the Kazakh president said.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed the need for the domestic business to participate in the study of the implementation of government orders in the field of digitalization to preserve the accumulated experience and competence in Kazakhstan.

Askar Zhumagaliyev informed Kazakh President about the expected results of the implementation of the program ‘Digital Kazakhstan’.

‘In the mining industry, through the introduction of digitalization, the cost of production will decrease, and production will increase. We also expect the creation of about 200,000 new jobs in e-commerce. Per our estimates, only through the digitization of customs and tax services will the state budget receive more than KZT100 billion’, the Deputy Prime.
