President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a telephone conversation with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, reports the press service of the President.

 During the conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on the current situation on the world oil market and discussed the implementation of the agreements reached following the official visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev to Saudi Arabia in October 2016.

The King noted that he pays particular attention to the development of bilateral relations and intends to instruct Saudi companies to participate in the implementation of projects for the processing of oil and gas in Kazakhstan.

Also, the King of Saudi Arabia congratulated the President of Kazakhstan on the successful holding the international exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana and the first OIC Summit on Science and Technology.

It is reported that the conversation took place on the initiative of the Saudi side.
